Spotify on Stage wows crowds in Bangkok and Jakarta

Last month, Amplify Live worked with global music streaming service Spotify to connect artists and fans in South East Asia through their landmark Spotify on Stage events.

Through producing the event and managing the logistics, Amplify’s team on the ground in Thailand and Indonesia understood the unique behaviours and purchasing patterns of youth in SEA, successfully driving over 7000 ticket sales for the awesome event.

As one of the world’s most influential brands, the debut of Spotify on Stage represented a unique and innovative way to connect artists and fans through capitalising on the popularity and individualised nature of online music streaming. In Bangkok, this year’s Spotify on Stage featured three top acts from three different countries: F. Hero from Thailand, OneRepublic from the US and Stray Kids from South Korea. In Jakarta, three of the world’s hottest artists — rapper Rich Brian and K-Pop sensations (G)I-DLE and ATEEZ — and local superstars Arsy Widianto, Brisia Jodie, Marion Jola, and Rizky Febian wowed Indonesians Crowds.

The uptake of music streaming has grown exponentially in the last decade, with Spotify leading the market through continuous innovation, changing the way audiences consume and interact with their music.
